Pins

Perfect pins for the cool weather seasons! They look great worn jacket lapels, and also work on heavier fabric tops and sweaters. These pins are forged steel with rocks bezel set in sterling. They are about 3" long(they look about actual size here on the blog!), a perfect size for every day wear. Stones are one of a kind, so the colors will vary from the ones shown here. Grays, blacks, and Sedona Red Rocks are generally what I'm working with. $65.00

Small Steel Spirals

These small forged steel bracelets and necklaces are quite popular at the co-op. The spirals are about an inch in diameter, are strung on adjustable waxed cotton cords, and have recycled glass bead accents. They make GREAT gifts!!! Bracelets are $15.00, and will fit a variety of wrist sizes.
Necklaces are 14.00. Great for stocking stuffers(yes, it will be time to think about that soon), teacher gifts, and souveniers! Available on a cute little gift card in a black organza gift bag.
I always coat steel with wax to prevent rusting, but they should be kept away from water if possible. Getting caught in the rain will not affect the finish, but don't wear them in the hot tub!

Sea Creatures Necklaces

These forged steel and sterling silver necklaces have a very tribal feel, in a contemporary way. Rock and roll chic, baby!
I have been told they remind people of sea creatures, teeth, and Africa. The pieces vary from 1 1/2"-2 1/2". This necklace is about 17" long, and is strung on a leather cord, with a hand crafted sterling clasp. It is currently at the coop, selling for $275.00.
It's really hard to tell how things will look when worn from these photos, so I took a pic of me wearing this(below). This necklace has some weight to it, and tickles my collar bones a little, but not in a bad way ;-) $700.00

This piece is strung on a steel cable, with a silver clasp.

Feathers

I'm expanding my line of forged steel jewelry, and really like these 'feathers' I came up with. They are forged out of 1/4" round steel stock, and have a nice texture and contour. These earrings are about 1.5" long, but that can vary up to a half an inch. They hang on a sterling earwire, and sell for $35.00.
This necklace has some really cool movement, and sits on the neck nicely as a choker. I found the beach rock on the Lake Michigan shoreline, in Evanston IL. The rock itself is about 1.25"w x 1" tall. The necklace is 16" long. $275.00

Cindy's Necklace

This necklace was a custom piece for a friend of my sister's. We met on Facebook, (whole different story), and after seeing some of my work, wondered if she could send me a rock to make into a necklace. I myself, am a total rockhound, so I was thrilled when her Alaska(that's where she lives) showed up in the mail. This necklace was probably a little more elaborate($$$) than she was planning for, but I had been thinking about a chain like this for awhile, and that is what the rock was calling for. She LOVES it! The heart shaped rock is about 2" long, so the pendant has a total length of about 3". The chain consists of hand forged steel links, sterling jumprings and charms, with recycled glass beads as accents on a couple of the jumprings. The whole piece is about 22" long, but can be worn shorter by hooking the clasp on a different jumpring.
I liked the way Cindy's necklace came out so much, that I had to make a similar one with a Sedona Red Rock set into the pendant. The dimensions are about the same, but the charms vary slightly. This piece is currently on Display at the Co-op, and has a price tag of $300.00.

Forged Heart Necklaces

I hand forge these hearts out of 1/4" steel stock. They are about 2" wide, and look great as a choker or worn longer on a sweater or T-shirt. The adjustable cotton cord makes them quite versatile, and can be worn on a variety of necklines. Recycled glass beads are used as accents, and make an awesome compliment to the steel. I have coated the steel with wax to prevent rust, but pieces should be kept away from water when possible. $20.00 each
